Thursday 20th march was our much-anticipated End-of-Year Grand Slam Competition, marking the culmination of another fantastic year of creativity and photographic excellence. Judge Malcolm Macnaughton took on the challenging task of selecting the best DPI images and prints of the year, and his expertise was evident in his insightful commentary and thoughtful choices.

This year’s competition showcased an impressively high standard of images, reflecting the incredible talent within our club. It was especially heartening to see new faces earning accolades and demonstrating their unique perspectives. The fresh influx of creativity promises an exciting future for the club as we continue to grow and evolve.

While the evening offered plenty to celebrate, it was disappointing that turnout was lower than expected. A vibrant atmosphere is one of the great joys of our gatherings, and we missed having more of you there to share in the event. Let’s aim to bring everyone together next time so we can fully appreciate and celebrate the artistic efforts of all members.
