Why join a camera club?

Almost everyone enjoys taking photographs these days. However, if you want to develop your skills and take more satisfying photographs, and have fun doing it, joining a camera club is an excellent step.

It doesn’t matter what camera equipment you have; smart phone or the latest mirrorless camera, there is a lot of practical help at hand. Most members are only too happy to share their expertise.

We also run workshops and informal ‘how to do it’ sessions to help you learn new skills and techniques. Our regular programme includes a number of high-quality visiting speakers, aiming to inspire and inform. Talks cover a range of different topics and genres, and you should find plenty of interest.

Last but not least, especially in the summer months, there are group outings and photowalks to local places of interest, finishing up with a convivial session at a convenient pub.
